Community Partnerships

At Cornerstone Counseling Center, we know that accessible mental health care in Connecticut is essential. That’s why we work alongside schools, retirement communities, and local organizations to bring counseling services directly to the community—making care easier to reach and more impactful.
McLean Senior Living Community
Through our work with Continuing Care Retirement Communities (CCRCs)—such as McLean Senior Living—we provide counseling for residents in both independent and assisted living. Our therapists offer individual and group sessions, making mental health care more accessible within the communities seniors call home.

School Partnerships
School-based mental health services help students build resilience and achieve success. That’s why Cornerstone partners with school systems across Connecticut, embedding licensed therapists directly into schools.
Our partnerships include:
-
Plainville Schools – Partnered since 2020
-
CREC Schools – Partnered since 2022
-
Windsor Schools – Partnered since 2024
-
New Britain Schools – Partnered since 2025
In addition to therapy, we also provide school-based medication management, ensuring students get consistent care without disrupting their school day.
Quinnipiac University Partnership
Cornerstone Counseling Center serves as a placement site for Quinnipiac University’s graduate-level counseling and mental health interns. This collaboration provides hands-on training and mentorship for future clinicians while expanding our capacity to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care to the community.

Expanding Access Across Connecticut
As our partnerships continue to grow, so does our commitment to removing barriers to care. From counseling in schools to therapy for seniors in assisted living, Cornerstone is proud to meet people where they are and provide trusted mental health services in Connecticut.
