It is challenging to recognize the need for help which makes taking the first step in seeking assistance an accomplishment. I strive to provide a safe and therapeutic atmosphere where you feel comfortable working through your challenges. I utilize a strength-based and person-centered approach, tailoring treatment to fit your individual needs. I will work to empower you and help you recognize your individual strengths. As you are the expert in your own life, I will collaborate with you in identifying needs and goals specific to you.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC) in the state of Connecticut who received a Master of Science Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults in a variety of settings including outpatient, residential, in-home, and community based. I have experience and training with anxiety, depression, anger, mood disorders, stress management, and more.
I look forward to taking this journey with you.
