As a counselor for 20 years, I continue to be fulfilled and inspired, witnessing clients grow through their circumstances and find a sense of empowerment, despite their challenges. I welcome the opportunity to provide support, guidance and a safe space to help you explore better ways to manage the stressors in your life. I use a client centered, strengths-based approach to team with you to build healthy coping skills while increasing mindful presence, self-awareness, and self-compassion. I work with adults of all ages, on a wide range of issues to help address symptoms of depression, anxiety, trauma, grief/loss, chronic pain, and patterns of co-dependency to enhance one’s sense of agency and improve relationships. I utilize several therapeutic approaches, based on an individual client’s specific needs and preferences, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction techniques, to promote healing and resilience. I will team with you, sharing frameworks, tools and strategies that you can take from our sessions and apply in your life. I believe that by making intentional adjustments we can all position ourselves to achieve better outcomes and live a more balanced life.
