Deciding to attend therapy is a courageous act that can result in life altering outcomes. Therapy is a process where we work together to find and achieve positive change. I have extensive training and experience in a wide range of issues including depression, anxiety, anger management, grief and loss, sexuality and trauma, as well as many others. I specialize in treating children, adolescents, adults, and couples while working in a collaborative manner with families.

As your therapist, I am determined to create a safe, secure, trusting environment providing each individual or couple I work with a place to grow. I believe that in order to become the best versions of ourselves, we have to step out of our comfort zone to maximize our true potential. In a collaborative manner, I strive to assist clients to identify and navigate through life’s challenges.

In addition to being a Licensed Professional Counselor, I am also a Certified School Counselor (K-12) who works closely with teachers, support staff, parents and outside community resources in order to coordinate services to best meet the needs of each client, as well as assisting with various educational difficulties. I have in-depth experience with college and career planning. My specific training is to help students reach their maximum educational potential by enhancing structure and accountability, while providing new effective study strategies. My commitment is to help families understand their children’s rights within the school system and help to ensure the appropriate plan is put into place for that specific individual.

I use an eclectic counseling approach specific to meeting the needs and strengths of each individual. Some approaches I utilize are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and mindfulness-based techniques. My primary goal is to create a safe, secure environment while helping clients achieve social, emotional, behavioral, and therapeutic goals by empowering each individual client.
