The first step towards getting somewhere is to decide that you are not going to stay where you are. Allow yourself to begin your journey towards wellness and generate positive change in your life. I believe that building trust is an essential step to creating a strong therapeutic relationship. It is essential in my practice to personally engage with my clients so treatment can be tailored to their specific needs. My style is compassionate, patient, and supportive, yet direct.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I have been practicing social work since 2013 and have experience working in school and outpatient settings. I primarily work with children and adolescents aged 6-18, as well as young adults.

I have extensive experience using evidence-based treatments and am a credentialed Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapist (TF-CBT). I have treated a variety of children who have suffered from traumatic experiences including sexual and/or physical abuse, domestic violence, neglect, grief and loss, and community violence. I am also trained in the Modular Approach to Therapy for Children with Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, and Conduct (MATCH-ADTC) and combine this with other cognitive behavioral and narrative therapy techniques to treat depression and anxiety. Other issues that I treat include gender and sexual identity, low self-esteem and self-image, self-harming behaviors, as well as life transitions.

I’ve found my passion working with children and their families and believe that we are not here just to survive, but instead to thrive. If it’s time to write a new chapter in your story. I welcome any opportunity to help guide that process.
