When we can least expect it, life has a way of changing on us, and we find ourselves left trying to navigate how we're going to move forward with or without a plan. As your therapist, my goal is to support you in working on the really challenging stuff and the things that seem too hard to tackle alone. My philosophy is that treatment is most effective when conducted in a confidential, non-judgmental manner where all people are treated with dignity and respect. With this, I am committed to creating a space of safety where you can explore your feelings and develop the insight and skills to work though the challenges you are facing. With 10 years working in the field of social work, I have supported children, adolescents and adults of varying backgrounds, in a number of environments with varying degrees of challenge. I have held roles in the Social Work field including but not limited to inpatient psychiatric facilities, outpatient therapy, crisis intervention services, in- home therapy and school social work. I have experience working with varying mental health diagnosis, substance use, depression, anxiety, complex trauma, behavioral issues, parenting, abuse and relationships with family and peers.
