HISTORY AND MISSION
Cornerstone Counseling Center opened its doors in August of 2017. Since then, our practice has expanded greatly. We've added clinicians with a wide variety of skills and specialties; creating a team that is committed to helping clients as well as our community. We take pride in helping people to navigate various struggles, empowering them to achieve their full potential.
We offer psychotherapeutic outpatient services to individuals, couples and families presenting with a wide variety of needs. Our mission is to provide comprehensive and collaborative care in an environment that allows for positive growth. This includes building emotional well-being and creating the capacity for change while helping you to develop the skills necessary to increase your quality of life.

How can I schedule an appointment?
You can schedule an appointment with one of our therapists by calling our intake line at 860-863-1001 Monday-Friday 9am-3pm and speaking with our office coordinator to find the right fit for you. Please visit our Services page for more information
What insurances are accepted?
We are able to accept Aetna, Anthem, Cigna, Connecticare, Medicaid, Medicare and United Healthcare/Oxford.
What if my insurance is not accepted but I would like an appointment?
Self-pay options are available at Cornerstone Counseling Center. For additional billing / insurance inquiries, connect
with our billing department at 860-385-1513.
What if Cornerstone does not currently have any appointments available?
If we are not able to accommodate you at that time we will place you on our waitlist and have one of our therapists check in with you when they become available. We will also give you a referral to another practice that may have more availability than we do at that time.
How can I sign my child up for Cornerstone's in-school services?
If your child attends on of the schools we work in, their counselor will give one of our therapists a referral for in-school services. Please visit our School-Based Services page for more information!
